April Fool’s Hike planned Apr. 1 at Missouri’s Crowder State Park

Don’t be a fool and miss out on an opportunity to exercise in the great outdoors on an April Fool’s Hike at Crowder State Park near Trenton. The hike, sponsored by Missouri State Parks, will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 at the beach parking lot and the public is invited to attend.

The two-mile hike will follow the River Forks Trail where you can experience the beauty of nature, including many early wildflowers and ferns. You will catch a glimpse of the Thompson River at the trail’s farthest point. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water.

Crowder State Park is located west of Trenton off Highway 6. For more information about the hike, call the park at 660-359-6473.
