Book Signing Specials at NRA Annual Meeting
NRAblog 04.03.12
A great way to get up close and personal with a few of the notables attending the NRA’s Annual Meeting & Exhibits this year in St. Louis are the book signings. Not only do you get to add a great piece of literature to your collection, but there’s also the chance that you’ll get the answer to those questions you’ve always wanted to ask.
In addition to well known heavy weights such as Lt. Colonel Oliver North and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, there’s also an opportunity on Friday to catch a little time with Keni Thomas. Mr. Thomas, you see, is a man of many talents.
As the author of Get it On!: What It Means to Lead the Way, you know that one of his skills rest in the writing arena. But then, looking closer, you realize what he wrote about: Operation Restore Hope and the Battle of Mogadishu. Not sure what happened there? Well, if you’ve watched the movie Blackhawk Downthen you have an idea of what happened there. For his role at Somalia, Thomas was received the fourth-highest combat award of the U.S. Armed Forces — the Bronze Star for Valor with the “V” device.
North is on the clock from 1:00 to 3:00 on Saturday, Jindal signs from 1:30 to 2:30 on Friday and Thomas will be there to offer his signature from 11:30 to 12:30 on Friday. All signings, sans the ever popular Ted Nugent events, take place in the 2nd floor atrium of the America’s Center.
