Kelty Partners with Oskar Blues Brewery, Launches Red Rocks Basecamp Giveaway

Kelty, the first company to create a backpack with a frame, has partnered with Oskar Blues, the first brewery to put a craft beer in a can, to launch the 2012 Red Rocks Basecamp Giveaway.

Starting on April 2, fans of craft beer in a can, good music, and quality outdoor gear will have a chance to win a prize pack featuring all three, so don’t miss out. Enter now and start giving some serious thought about who you will take with you.

The Red Rocks Basecamp Giveaway kicks off in April and five finalists will be determined by random drawing from all eligible entries on August 1, 2012. To win the grand prize, the five finalists will be asked to answer a few questions and write an essay about why they dig the combination of craft beer in a can, music, and the great outdoors. Oskar Blues and Kelty will put their heads together and invite the most entertaining and compelling response.
“We decided to pick the winner from five finalists’ essays to have a little fun and get to know what makes the winner tick,” said Chad Melis, Marketing Director with Oskar Blues. “We want to share this extravaganza of Colorado, craft beer, music, and the outdoors with someone that digs it as much as we do.”
The Red Rocks Basecamp Giveaway winner will receive round trip airfare for two, Dale’s Pale Ale RV transportation, hotel accommodation for two nights, Oskar Blues Brewery tour, dinner, beers, live music, a pair of backstage VIP tickets to a Red Rocks show in September with a Kelty/Oskar Blues parking lot tailgate, $200 worth of Oskar Blues swag, and a Kelty equipment pack including a Kelty Hula Shadehouse, two Lowdown Chairs, Folding Cooler, LumaCamp lantern, and Soft-Top Table.
