The most-watched field sports TV series in the outdoor industry, “The Bucks of Tecomate” (BoT), is moving to Outdoor Channel, America’s Leader In Outdoor TV, in 2013. Joining “Tecomate Whitetail Nation” (TWN), which already airs on Outdoor Channel during the first two quarters of the year, Q3 and Q4 BoT will give Tecomate a powerful year-round presence in the outdoor TV market. Produced by award-winning Orion Entertainment, both TWN and BoT will be hosted by renowned author/whitetail hunter/manager David Morris, food plot pioneer Dr. Gary Schwarz, and Team Tecomate.

“If there’s one company in the whitetail space that has momentum it’s Tecomate,” says Orion President Chris Dorsey. “Morris, Schwarz, and Team Tecomate are a tremendous trio that attract dominant ratings because they know whitetails and they know how to translate their passion for big deer on TV. Better than anyone, Tecomate has harnessed the nationwide movement for growing and hunting bigger deer and they’re helping empower millions of outdoorsmen and women to transform their own hunting experiences.”

“We are very excited to become a part of the Outdoor Channel family,” says co-host David Morris. “The network is all outdoors, all the time. Because of that, it has a loyal following of serious hunters, especially whitetail hunters, Tecomate’s core market. Outdoor Channel is the perfect fit for ‘Tecomate Whitetail Nation’ and ‘The Bucks of Tecomate.’”

Co-host Dr. Gary Schwarz adds, “Hunters like to see big bucks! ‘The Bucks of Tecomate’ not only consistently features some of the biggest of any TV series, but also incorporates management tips, family involvement, and the credibility of Team Tecomate. We are delighted that the best outdoor network on television has joined forces with The Big Buck Professionals.”

“Outdoor Channel is thrilled to add ‘The Bucks of Tecomate’ to our 2013 programming line-up,” said Jeff Wayne, EVP, Programming and Production, Outdoor Channel. “We’ve put real emphasis on adding star power to the network, and Morris, Schwarz and Team Tecomate are a perfect fit for our strategy. This level of endemic celebrity, paired with some of the best whitetail hunting on television, should make for an instant hit with Outdoor Channel viewers.”

“Serious sportsmen who have a passion for hunting watch Outdoor Channel religiously because of its content and the quality of its programming. Team Tecomate is dedicated to producing the best whitetail hunting show on television. Therefore, I feel Outdoor Channel is the perfect place to showcase Tecomate’s TV shows and our passion for managing and harvesting big bucks throughout North America,” said Team Tecomate Field Host Blaine Burley.
