For the first time ever, viewers of World Fishing Network’sHookin’ Up with Mariko Izumi may see monstrous fish jump right out of their screens. That’s because WFN and DIRECTV have joined forces to produce a special 3D edition of the show that will make the scenic beauty of fly fishing come to life like never before. Hookin’ Up with Mariko Izumi – Expedition Fly Fishing 3D, will air exclusively on DIRECTV’s HD 3D channel, n3D (Channel #103) on Saturday, May 26th from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET.

Hookin’ Up with Mariko Izumi – Expedition Fly Fishing 3D is an action-packed documentary that challenges Mariko and a group of hard-core anglers to plan the perfect fly fishing expedition to one of the most exclusive bodies of water in North America. The show follows Mariko and her team as they plan the trip, travel to their remote destination in British Columbia, strategize on how to attack the water, and fish for salmon on the fly.
Each scene is complete with action-styled photography, extreme close-ups with eye popping details, and compelling interviews with the anglers. The entire expedition is sewn together with iconic imagery, engaging characters, and riveting adventure.
