Handgun Owners Will Improve Skills at Sig Sauer Academy ‘First Shots-Second Round’ Seminar Nov. 13
National Shooting Sports Foundation 10.31.12
If you are one of many Americans who have purchased a handgun or obtained a concealed carry permit in recent years, you can add to your skills at the “First Shots-Second Round” seminar scheduled at the Sig Sauer Academy on Tuesday, November 13, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The “First Shots-Second Round” program, developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), expands on the First Shots introduction-to-shooting seminars. Demand for additional education led to the development of the “second round” program by NSSF, the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry.
The First Shots-Second Round seminar will provide students with skills needed to handle their handgun safely, with emphasis on holster to target. An introduction to competitive shooting sports matches organized by the International Defensive Pistol Association and the United States Practical Pistol Association will be provided as well.
This is an intermediate-level seminar. Prior to the event, participants should have taken an eight-hour handgun course and should have the ability to use a holster. There is a $35 non-refundable cost for this event.
All equipment will be provided. In addition, participants will be given instruction on drawing from a holster and firing Simunition FX marking cartridges, using special Simunition equipment.
Register for the seminar today.
