Rossi Morreale to Host American Airgunner

American Airgunner TV is gearing up for an exceptional 2013 with Rossi Morreale as host. Among others, Rossi has hosted television shows on ABC, Discovery Channel, G4 Network, and Speed Channel. You may recognize him from Belly of the Beast, a show in which Rossi gave viewers an in-depth look at the firepower of tanks and the versatility of helicopters.

American Airgunner Executive Producer, Justin Biddle, said, “I know several people who have known Rossi and his family for a long time and they all attest to his high energy and devotion. Rossi has a genuine interest in the outdoors that was part of his youth—he grew up hunting and fishing. I couldn’t be more excited about Rossi’s desire to help us tell the story of airguns in an educative, informative, and entertaining manner.”

Rossi Morreale was born and raised in Arkansas, where he attended the University of Arkansas and started as a wide receiver for the Razorbacks. He grew up hunting and fishing and although he resides in Los Angeles, still goes back to Arkansas to hunt with his dad. “I’m anxious to be a part of American Airgunner. I’ll be hosting a show about something I enjoy and grew up doing—shooting. And I expect to get to blow some stuff up!” said Morreale.  Rossi’s ability to capture audiences throughout different platforms has lead him to be voted one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive.

New episodes of American Airgunner 2013 will begin in July and will take viewers across the country for a look at different shooting disciplines including air rifle competition, recreational shooting, friendly challenges, airgun hunting, and product reviews as well as tech tips and discussions about current technologies that power today’s airguns. The show’s Director, Mike Hart, of 5 Star Productions in Fort Smith said, “This season is shaping up to be packed full of informative content and entertainment for our viewers. More about the sport of air-powered guns. More fun. More high-speed footage. And Rossi to help us tell the story.”

American Airgunner began airing in 2008 and its 2012 season is currently re-airing on the Pursuit Channel via DISH Network channel 240, DIRECTV channel 604 and select cable networks. Check local listings for air times and follow American Airgunner on Facebook, YouTube and at AmericanAirgunner.com.
