Easton, the industry leader in innovative arrows and archery equipment since 1922 announces the AXIS Traditional arrow for 2013.
The Easton arrow brand has a long history making equipment for traditional style shooters. Doug Easton founded the Easton arrow company back in 1922 making handcrafted wood arrows and longbows while working alone in his small workshop. The new Traditional AXIS is the latest offering in a long line of Easton brand products geared toward the traditional enthusiast. “We really wanted to make the new traditional AXIS something special,” stated Gary Cornum, Easton Design Manager. “We went back into our archives and found some of Doug’s 1920’s wood arrows and borrowed some of his original cresting colors for the label banding.”
In addition to the retro look, the Traditional AXIS has a long list of performance features as well. Stick-bow shooters will appreciate the small diameter high-strength carbon shaft that moves the arrow closer to the bow riser center and adds total penetration by reducing friction passing through hide and bone. Brass inserts add valuable weight upfront that provides better arrow flight and tighter groups in the practice target.
The made-in-USA AXIS Trad comes with pre-installed bone color X nocks and brass 8-32 thread break-off inserts included. Deep Six steel inserts, field points, and broadheads are available and sold separately. Traditional AXIS is available today at Easton dealers nationwide.
Easton makes a complete line of arrows and arrows accessories for all types of archery from kid’s arrows, to bowhunting, to world-level Olympic competition. To view Easton’s complete line of arrows, see your local dealer and visit www.eastonarchery.com
