In addition to its exciting, all-new flagship model Armageddon crossbow, Velocity Archery’s Raven and Defiant are two additional new models for 2013 that turned heads at last week’s ATA Trade Show held in Louisville, Ky.
Built on a lightweight platform with plenty of performance-based features, the Raven delivers an Inflix carbon bolt at speeds up to 350 fps. with more than 110 ft. lbs. of kinetic energy.
Loaded with accessories placed purposely to reduce noise, shock, and vibration, the Raven is one sweet-shooting, quiet, & powerful crossbow.
Anti-dry fire inhibitors, ambidextrous safety, are always standard equipment on every Velocity Archery Crossbow.
The Raven package features Velocity Archery’s new VA 4×32 scope, giving the hunter the option of black, red, or green crosshairs to tackle any light conditions encountered while on your hunt. The new Inflix carbon bolts will ensure accurate shot placement at any distance, and are housed in a new 4-bolt quiver. Realtree AP Xtra, a padded sling, rope cocker, and rail lube round out this high performance package that is sure to please any shooting enthusiast.
The Defiant is a lightweight, easy-to-maneuver crossbow built on a compact frame for shooters of all physical builds. The vertical grip is mounted on a rail system so the shooter may adjust the grip to fit their preferred shooting style.
Realtree AP Xtra camo adds great concealment qualities with style.
The new VA 4×32 scope can be used with a standard black crosshair or with a turn of the rheostat knob crosshairs can be illuminated in red or green to meet variable light conditions. All contact points for the hand and cheek have rubber coatings to provide a comfortable feel while reducing any recoil during the shot.
The Defiant features a quick-detach light-weight 4-bolt quiver, carrying Velocity’s new Proprietary C6 Spiral technology Inflix carbon bolts. The 150-pound maximum-weight limbs generate speeds up to 325 fps while delivering more 95 foot-pounds of kinetic energy- plenty of penetration power for any game on this continent and beyond. An anti-dry fire inhibitor is standard equipment on all Velocity Archery Crossbows, as is the ambidextrous safety.
