Backwoods Life show hosts Kevin Knighton and Michael Lee will participate in the 12th anniversary for Country Goes Huntin 2013. This Southern tradition brings together hunting pros and country music signers in order to raise money for local and national charities. The Pro-Staffers take the singers Turkey hunting from March 28th-30th. On the last day, the country singers perform a benefit concert in Dothan, Alabama. Some of the performers include Rhett Akins, Craig Morgan, and Dallas Davidson. The benefit concert is open to the public with the purchase of a $20 advanced ticket or $25 the day of and the doors open at 7.

This year the proceeds will benefit KWO (Keeping Warriors Outdoors). KWO is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to introducing wounded warriors to the outdoors. On behalf of everyone at Backwoods Life we encourage everyone to come out and participate in Country Goes Huntin 2013. “I’m truly honored to participate in this event. It’s always satisfying to know that one little thing you do can make such an impact in the community. I’m looking forward to Country Goes Huntin because not only am I doing what I love, but I’m also helping to make a difference” says Michael.
