Northwestern Outdoor Radio Reaches the 50 Station Mark
OutdoorHub 06.24.13
Northwestern Outdoors Radio has reached a major milestone and can now be heard on 50 radio stations every weekend! The latest stations to add the show to their weekend line-up includes AM 930 KMPT, Western Montana’s Talk Station, broadcasting out of Missoula and KWVR 92.1 FM, heard throughout Northeast Oregon out of Enterprise.
Host and Producer John Kruse is excited about hitting the 50 affiliate mark. However, when asked about the reason the show has been so successful as a self-syndicated venture, he simply says, “God must have a sense of humor”. Northwestern Outdoors Radio is a regional outdoors radio show which began syndication from its flagship station AM 560 KPQ out of Wenatchee, Washington in the fall of 2008.
Northwestern Outdoors Radio is now one of the five most widely distributed outdoors radio shows in the nation. John Kruse is the host and producer of the hour long show that covers fishing, hunting, wildlife and a wide variety of outdoor recreational topics with a focus on the Northwestern United States. John is joined on the show by regular contributors Kelsey Hilderbrand (Crosshairs), Kyla Merwin (Oregon Road Tripper Report) and David Sparks (Sportsman’s Spotlight courtesy of the Ag Info Network). The show receives financial support from long term sponsors like Leupold & Stevens, High Mountain Hunting Supply, Mack’s Lure Company, Camp Chef, Mar Don Resort and the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce. Additional information about Northwestern Outdoors Radio, now broadcast over 60 times a week on 50 stations across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, can be found at www.northwesternoutdoors.com.
