Minn Kota Releases New Riptide Transom Motors for Inshore Saltwater Boaters

Responding to input from saltwater anglers, Minn Kota is expanding its Riptide Transom trolling motor product line.
“Users of electric motors on small sailboats, canoes, kayaks, RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) and smaller fishing boats are continuously looking for a product that suits their unique environment,” Minn Kota Senior Product Manager Dave Maryanov said. “The new Riptide Transom motors provide exceptional saltwater performance and ease of use in a light-weight, portable platform.”
A total of seven different models will be offered in the transom-mount line including 12-, 24- and 36-volt motors. Thrust levels will range from 45 pounds up to the new powerful 112-pound model. The suggested retail prices range from $249.99 to $839.99.
