NRA Country on Pursuit Channel to Lead Primetime Sundays

The National Rifle Association and the Pursuit Channel have announced a second major expansion in their drive to promote, strengthen and preserve the outdoor lifestyle enjoyed by tens of millions of Americans. “NRA Country,” a pre-primetime block of Sunday programming, complete with practical personal safety and gear selection tips by the NRA, is now airing on the Pursuit Channel.
“Hunting, shooting and personal protection stand on centuries of support by Americans from all walks of life,” said Wayne LaPierre, CEO and executive vice president of the NRA. “Tens of millions of Americans, including the NRA’s five million members, dedicated media companies like Pursuit Channel and the shooting sports industry are committed to honoring our proud American heritage, and this partnership highlights that.”

“NRA Country” begins Sundays at 4:00 p.m. EST with three hard-hitting hunting shows produced in association with Blaine Anthony’s Nature Productions: Mayhem OD, The Bear Whisperer and North American Safari. The adventures of the faith-based team of Final Descent Outdoors is next at 6:00 p.m., followed by Hunting North America and Beyond with Colorado Buck, season three of fan-favorite Carnivore with Gary Roberson and Joe Braman and Winchester’s Deadly Passion with Melissa Bachman.
“NRA Country” leads to the 8:00 p.m. primetime start of “Mossy Oak Obsession Sunday” featuring: North American Hunter, The High Road with Keith Warren, Mossy Oak’s Inside The Obsession, Scent Blocker & Drury’s Natural Born, NWTF 365 and Alex Rutledge’s Bloodline. Master bird hunter Fred Zink’s Avian-X and Get In The Game follow to conclude one of the best nights of traditional outdoor programming on television.
