TESTRIDE and Cabela’s NWT Next Stop Door County, Wisconsin

The upper midwest’s favorite summer destination, Door County, Wisconsin is the next stop for the TESTRIDE program this Saturday, July 27, 2013. Free rides in an Evinrude-Ranger TESTRIDE boat on Sturgeon Bay await. In conjunction with the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour tournament, TESTRIDE is free to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lodge at Leathem-Smith. Bass boats, multi-species boats and the new aluminum line from Ranger Boats powered with Evinrude outboards will be available for rides. Driven by professional anglers, the rigs showcase electronics, Minn Kota trolling motors, Talon shallow water anchors, Lakemaster digital mapping, iPilot Link control for Minn Kota motors and quality Dobyns fishing rods.
“We’re excited for the next stop in the TESTRIDE event and enjoy meeting the folks in Wisconsin that spend their summers boating and fishing,” shared George Feder, TESTRIDE coordinator. “Whether folks are hard-core shopping and want to take advantage of the $1500 incentive or if they might not buy for a year or two and just want to explore the Ranger-Evinrude brands—come on out.”
“These are some of the top brands in the business,” shared Wendy Heim of Pamp’s Outboards, the local Evinrude-Ranger dealer. “We invite current and future boat owners to experience the power of an Evinrude outboard at TESTRIDE.” Logo’d t-shirts are a complimentary gift for the first 50 to take a TESTRIDE.
Attendees can register to win a Talon shallow water anchor system. “We’re giving away a Talon at the end of the TESTRIDE season,” shared Tim Price of Johnson Outdoors. “Sign up at TESTRIDE for a chance to win and ask questions of knowledgeable anglers about all the Johnson Outdoor brands including Humminbird, Minn Kota, Lakemaster, iPilot Link and Talon.”
Liddle Marketing Company organizes the events, working in partnership with Ranger Boats’ Wisconsin Rep Steve Lindahl. “We are happy to have this national program stop in Wisconsin,” shared Lindahl. “This is a great opportunity to experience a Ranger Boat on the water.”
A special event just for the ladies is planned, hosted by Bassmaster Champion Janet Parker. The Women & Water program is available at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and showcases boat maintenance and boat ownership skills. “Women learn best from other women,” shared Janet. “At Women & Water ladies walk away with new skills and confidence in using equipment like electronics and trolling motors and overall boat ownership.”
The TESTRIDE program is completely free, plus free t-shirts to the first 50 who take a TESTRIDE.
