AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Welcomes Motorcycle Ohio’s 25th Anniversary Celebration this Saturday, Aug. 3

The American Motorcyclist Association Motorcycle Hall of Fame campus will be bustling with activity this Saturday, Aug. 3, as it welcomes the 25th anniversary celebration of Motorcycle Ohio.

“Both the motorcycling and non-motorcycling public are invited to attend this Saturday,” said AMA Vice President of Operations Jeff Massey. “We’ll have riding demonstrations, a number of activities to keep folks entertained and food vendors. In recognition of this significant milestone for one of motorcycling’s most important safety advocates, we’ll also provide free admission to the Hall of Fame for AMA members and $5 admission for non-members 18 and older.”

Motorcycle Ohio, part of the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS), is committed to reducing the severity and frequency of motorcycle crashes through rider education, pubic information campaigns and licensing improvement.

“I am proud and honored to be a part of such an important celebration,” said OCJS Executive Director Karhlton F. Moore. “Motorcycle Ohio has accomplished so much since its inception, and we are committed to many more years of working with our traffic safety partners on education, enforcement and engineering efforts to reduce motorcycle deaths and injuries.”

The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday with opening remarks from AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman and Motorcycle Ohio State Coordinator Rollin Kiser. Motorcycle Ohio instructor demonstrations will follow, along with kids games and other activities.

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame is located at 13515 Yarmouth Dr., Pickerington, Ohio. The Hall of Fame celebrates, elucidates and preserves the rich tradition of motorcycling in America. Its exhibits honor the distinguished men and women whose competitive spirit, passion, vision and entrepreneurship have shaped the sport, lifestyle and business of motorcycling.
