Call for Presentations at 2014 Shooting Sports Summit

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) has issued a Call for Presentations in breakout sessions at its 2014 Shooting Sports Summit, scheduled for June 9-11, 2014, in Springfield, Mass.

The Shooting Sports Summit attracts leaders from the firearms and shooting sports industry, shooting range operators, firearms retailers, and members of the conservation community and state wildlife agencies. Many programs that have successfully promoted safe and responsible participation in hunting and target shooting have grown out of ideas first expressed at past Shooting Sports Summits.

Breakout session presentations will be 15 minutes in duration. The presentation’s subject matter must be consistent with the Summit’s theme of sharing dynamic, repeatable models of success to increase hunting and target shooting participation and with 2014 Summit topics that include Special Events That Work, Diversifying Your Customer Base, Legislative and Regulatory Challenges, Media Outreach, Apprentice Hunting, Using Social Media, Building New Places to Shoot and more. The full list of topics can be on the Shooting Sports Summit’s website, http://www.nssf.org/summit/.

All submissions for presentations are due by October 1, 2013, and the presenter will be notified of acceptance via email by October 18. Presentations are due by March 3, 2014.
