Backwoods Life hosts Michael Lee and Woody Sullivan head west to Kansas on this week’s show after crew member Ryan Whitaker arrows the largest buck on film ever for Backwoods Life TV.
The state of Kansas is known for big bucks, so the guys keep heading back year after year in hopes of another great hunt and big buck for the wall. With their Elite bows in hand and an archery tag burning up their pocket, Ryan starts things off hunting some private land in Northwest Kansas where he gets a shot at a true giant Kansas buck. Next, Michael then heads to hunt with Dirt Road Outfitters in south-central Kansas and he is there just in time for the first rut activity of the fall and hopes he can put a Muzzy through one of these big boys following a hot doe. Last, Woody heads out with Ryan filming on more private land where the rut action is wide open and the bucks are on their feet.
“Kansas is a great state to hunt and there are lots of trophy bucks. When I sit in the stand there, I’m nervous the whole time. You never know when a true world class buck will step out!” says Michael.
You don’t want to miss one of the best buck episodes of the year and one for the history books this week, so set the DVR or tune in!
