First Shot Event Will Be Held in Denver, CO on September 21

Families new to wildlife recreation are invited to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife 6060 Broadway office to take their “First Shot!”  Officer Tim Woodward, district wildlife manager for the metro area, will teach novice shooters and anglers how to get the most out of the outdoors.

WHO:   People with little or no experience in wildlife recreation (8 years and older for archery and shooting)
WHAT:  First Shot — Intro to Archery, Fishing, and Shooting
WHEN:   Saturday, Sept. 21 , 8 a.m. to 12 noon
WHERE:   Colorado Parks and Wildlife, 6060 Broadway, Denver
HOW:   Register for event by calling 303 291-7804 and leave a message with your name,  address, and phone number. Spaces are limited to 75 people so register early. Attendees should dress for outdoor comfort, including hat, sunscreen, and insect repellant.  Children are required to have an adult participant accompanying them. Water provided.
