Brownells Serves as Title Sponsor of Inaugural Amateur-Only 3-Gun Match

The World’s Largest Supplier of Firearms Accessories, Ammunition and Gunsmithing Tools – is proud to announce it will serve as the title sponsor for the inaugural Brownells U.S. 3-Gun Amateur and Junior National Championships. The first ever, amateur-only 3-gun match will be held September 27-29, 2013, at the Midwest 3-Gun Range near Fayette, Missouri.
Open to any amateur or junior 3-gun competitor, the match will use a Lewis-Class scoring system to give all contestants a better opportunity to win great prizes.
“The weekend shooter is the backbone of the shooting sports,” said Matt Buckingham, President/COO of Brownells. “We realize that most competitors do it for the love of the sport and for the friendships made at these competitions. That’s why we’re very excited to sponsor this match because it not only allows for hobby shooters to have access to top prizes, but it also a way for us to thank everyone who spends their hard-earned dollar to compete in these great events.”
The Brownells U.S. Amateur 3-Gun National Championships will feature nine stages designed by an experienced team of multi- and 3-gun course designers to fully test the handgun, shotgun and rifle skills of competitors. Participants may elect to compete in one of five classes – Open, Tactical Optics, Tactical Irons, Heavy Metal or Heavy Tactical Optics.
