Winner will go behind the scenes with NRA Outdoors on an inspection visit with one of its newest Canadian outfitters
Outdoorsmen and women who long for a chance to work in the hunting industry can get a firsthand experience seeing what it’s like, as well as hunt giant Canadian whitetails by winning the NRA Outdoors latest Facebook contest.
NRA Outdoors’ will send one lucky winner to Alberta, Canada, this November to be a part of the inspection team visiting one of the organization’s newest Canadian outfitters. As part of the inspection process, the winner, along with a member of the NRA Outdoors team, will hunt some of province’s top whitetail territory for a monster Alberta buck.
The contest begins Tuesday, September 17 at 8 a.m. EDST and will continue through noon EDST on Wednesday, October 9. To be eligible, entrants must be at 21 years old and possess a valid, U.S. passport. For a chance to win, entrants must “Like” the NRA Outdoors’ Facebook page as well as click on the “Contest” tab and enter their name and email address. Once successfully entered into the contest, entrants will receive an email confirming their entry. The winner will be chosen at random from the entries and notified via email. Those who already “Like” NRA Outdoors on Facebook need only click on the “Contest” tab and submit their contact information.
The NRA Outdoors Alberta Whitetail prize package includes a fully outfitted hunt plus meals, lodging and game prep. The dates of the hunt are November 10 through November 17. The winner of the contest will be required to purchase their own roundtrip airfare to Edmonton, Alberta, as well as the required licenses and tags (approximately $500). Taxidermy and costs associated with the shipment of trophies will be the responsibility of the winner and are not included in the prize package.
