All-new professional walleye circuit off to incredible start
The new Cabela’s National Walleye Tour (NWT) continues to add to an impressive list of sponsors with the recent addition of Amphibia Sports, LLC. The eyewear manufacture joins a growing list of supporters committed to the all-new professional walleye circuit as it heads towards its championship event of the 2013 season, scheduled for Sept. 19-21 at Devil’s Lake, N.D.
“We’re thrilled to have the support of a brand like Amphibia Sports,” said Anthony Wright, tournament director. “NWT anglers live active lifestyles. They need durable gear and Amphibia Sports eyeglasses are a perfect fit. With features like polarized lenses and the ability to float, their products are built to last and ideal for any angler.”
A leading manufacturer of watersports-focused eyewear, Amphibia Sports, LLC, is committed to providing high-performance eyeglasses for active lifestyles. Based in Carrolton, Texas, the eyewear company offers a wide variety of eyewear with a comfortable fit at an affordable price. With the ability to float, the eyewear is guaranteed to last.
As part of the sponsorship, Amphibia Sports will award a $500 contingency prize to the pro winner and $250 to the co winner of the NWT Championship. To qualify, anglers must have purchased Amphibia Sports eyewear prior to the tournament and worn them throughout the event and on stage. Anglers must also mention Amphibia while on stage to qualify.
“Amphibia Sports’ mission is to provide outdoor enthusiasts with high-performance eyewear at an affordable price,” said Bill Eisenmann, President of Amphibia Sports. “The NWT is a great platform to show off the durability and performance of our products. We are looking forward to being a part of the upcoming championship.”
The NWT website is currently accepting registrations for the 2013 championship event on-line. The website offers numerous details on the circuit; including official rules, tournament structure, payout and incentives.
Each NWT event features over 100 percent payback. A fully rigged Ranger Boat, plus cash, is guaranteed for first place at each event – a total value of $57,000. Anglers that fish all three regular season events, in addition to the top points leaders, are qualified for the three-day, entry-fee championship.
The new circuit also includes unprecedented television and media coverage, allowing a national audience to watch the action unfold from each event throughout the season. Airing on multiple networks, the National Walleye Tour will be seen on the World Fishing Network, Pursuit Channel, as well as the new NBC Sports Network.
