Our mission is share knowledge, ideas and strategies on self-sufficiency and preparedness in relation to what is REALLY going on in our world. Our group has a positive outlook on life and realize that by taking action in our current environment rather than sticking our head in the sand, we can all generate a feeling of confidence and security in our lives. With all of the craziness around us: natural disasters, unemployment, housing crisis, threat of terrorism and possible economic gloom, those that are prepared have a peace of mind.
Our hope, along with other like-minded individuals, is to empower as many people as possible through knowledge and have fun while doing it. We recognize that there is a very important difference between worrying about current issues and seeking successful solutions. Remember, if we don’t give time or attention to problems they will gnaw at us until we take action. Knowledge is a good place to start… Action and practice will follow.
Our GEAR UP group will consist of sharing and learning skills on important subjects such as: Self Reliance, Local & National Threats, Prepping Skills, Emergency Preparedness, Food Preservation, Aquaponics, Financial Preparedness, Horticulture, Hunting, Tracking, Prepper Basic Preparedness, Self Defense, and much more.
About Gear Up’s Founder: Tim Ralston has been personally and professionally involved in preparedness and emergency planning. As the International Spokesman for Nat Geo’s show “Doomsday Prepper” he found there is a need for information and quality education not based on “dooms day” but on real world situations.
