This Weekend Northwestern Outdoors Radio Visits Cottonwood Canyon State Park

Cottonwood Canyon State Park opens to the public this weekend in Oregon State and we head there to talk to Park Manager Tom Peterson about this huge park that fronts 14 miles of the John Day River. Anglers, hunters, hikes, bicyclists, horseback riders, wildlife watchers and campers are all going to love this place!

Fishing is “Red Hot” for Chinook salmon on the Columbia River right now and guide Bruce Warren of Fishing for Fun Guide Service will give you the tips you need to land your share of this bounty harvest swimming upstream this fall. We’ll also give you the “blow by blow” account of how the Northwest Outdoors Fishing Team does at MarDon Resort’s annual Old Farts Bass Tournament” on Eastern Washington’s Potholes Reservoir.
