World Fishing Network Names Industry Veteran Neil Brubaker Senior Director of Affilate Sales

World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, today announced that 18-year industry veteran Neil Brubaker has been appointed to the position of Senior Director, Affiliate Sales.

Brubaker, who joins WFN from ESPN, will work from WFN’s suburban Denver, Colo. office and report to Sean Luxton, Senior Vice President of Digital and Content Distribution.

“Neil comes to us with a proven record of success in sales performance and relationship building, two important ingredients that will help us achieve our goal of maximizing WFN’s value to our Affiliates,” said Luxton. “WFN appeals to a passionate audience of more than 60 million anglers in the U.S., and Neil understands how to engage and educate Affiliates about our proven ability to leverage the WFN brand to deliver subscriber growth and acquisition.”

Brubaker spent 16 years at ESPN Media Networks (1997-2013), directing the affiliate sales and marketing team while most recently managing syndication distribution and agreements with over-the-air broadcast stations, RSNs and cable affiliates throughout the Western Division as Senior Director of Affiliate Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining ESPN, Brubaker served as Regional Manager of Affiliate Sales and Marketing for E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles from 1995-96.

A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Brubaker has successfully completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.  He was selected to serve on the Advisory Board for both the Denver Nuggets Season Ticket Holders and the CU Intercollegiate Taskforce.
