An Internet Hunter Education conclusion course is being offered on Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lodge in Vail. Pre-registration is required.
The on-line course is a convenient way for prospective hunters to obtain their hunter safety cards. Hunters can study the coursework on their own time. The internet portion must be completed before the date of the class.
The conclusion class includes firearms safety with shooting, hunter responsibility, wildlife regulations and other hands-on activities. To obtain their Hunter Education card, students must pass a written exam and complete the firearms shooting portion at the range. All firearms and ammo are provided.
