The National Shooting Sports Foundation’s First Shots program is the recipient of a generous donation of several thousand pairs of shooting safety glasses provided by Kimberly-Clark Professional.
A pair of Smith & Wesson-branded safety glasses will be included in the gift bag that each First Shots and First Shots Second Round participant receives.
“First Shots is all about providing a safe and fun introduction to target shooting, and these safety glasses so generously provided by Kimberly-Clark Professional reinforces that concept,” said Tisma Juett, First Shots program manager.
First Shots gift bags also include the NSSF safety brochures “Firearms Responsibility in the Home” and “Firearms Safety Depends on You,” a flash drive that contains product information from program sponsors, information on how to continue in the shooting sports and a video welcoming new participants to the shooting sports.
Since the inception of First Shots in 2005, approximately 35,000 individuals have been introduced to handgun, rifle and shotgun target shooting through the program, equating to nearly $11 million in industry sales.
