Blind Horse Knives Debuts the Short Trail: October 2013 Special

Blind Horse Knives’ newest offering is the Short Trail, or ST. The ST is 5 inches in overall length with a 2 inch cutting edge. The squared off spine will work great with the included ¼ inch fire steel. This is a great package that can be worn by itself, as a companion to a larger hip knife, or as a great every day carry package. It is small enough to be a great necker, it will also slip into a front pocket or a small zipped area in a bug out bag.
The ST is made of 1/8 inch thick O1 tool steel in a full flat grind. The handle has dark natural micarta scales, hand hammered brass pins with a matching brass lined lanyard tube. The sheath is set up in such a way that the included ¼ inch fire steel is hidden in the back and out of the way until needed. The package includes the sheath made with buffalo leather for the first 100 only, the LE’s, and after those are sold the sheath will be Blind Horse Knives’ proven vegetable tanned cow hide.
