Alligator hunters finished the final weekend of alligator season with 13 gators harvested. A total of 44 alligators were taken during the two weekend season.

The largest alligator taken during the final weekend was a 12-foot 8-inch gator taken by Jason Berry. During last weekend’s hunt, one lucky hunter bagged a gator that measured just over 13-feet 9-inches.

The season began 30 minutes after sunset on Friday, Sept. 20 until 30 minutes before sunrise on Monday, Sept. 23. The final season began 30 minutes after sunset on Friday, Sept. 27 until 30 minutes before sunrise on Monday, Sept. 30.
