Activision’s ‘Cabela’s African Adventures’ is Available Now

Cabela’s is pleased to announce that Activision’s Cabela’s African Adventures is available now for Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system, and Nintendo’s Wii™ system. This third-person, action-hunting game lets you track down the deadliest predators in the African wilderness including lions, African elephants, Cape buffalos, leopards and rhinos – otherwise known as the “Big Five”.
As the newest installment in the successful Cabela’s video game franchise, Cabela’s African Adventures allows hunters to make dynamic choices throughout their journey by giving them new freedom to explore in ways never before seen. Set in vibrant open-worlds like the savannah, jungle and desert, players can tackle daring quests, hunt exotic wildlife and discover secret collectibles while traveling on-foot or by vehicle. Cabela’s African Adventures features a new character progression system that unlocks powerful weapon upgrades and special abilities, offering a range of offensive, defensive and stealth-based tactical loadouts. Arcade-action junkies can jump into the Shooting Galleries Hot Seat mode, supporting up to four players locally, where rapid-paced hunts test even the best reflexes.
Cabela’s African Adventures is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 for $39.99, Wii for $29.99. It will be available on October 16 for $19.99 on PC via Steam. It is rated T (Teen) by the ESRB.
