Public Hearings on Wisconsin’s Proposed Deer Trustee Report Implementation Rules Begin Oct. 22

he public is being reminded they will have an opportunity to learn more about and comment on rules the Department of Natural Resources is proposing to implement recommendations in the Deer Trustee Report at public hearings that will be held at 35 locations statewide [PDF] from Oct. 22 to Oct. 31.

The official comment period will run from Oct. 14 to Nov. 8. If unable to attend a public hearing during this time, the public is encouraged to complete a survey and submit comments online through the “deer trustee report Web page.”
