RANGELOG is pleased to announce that 15 year-old Ashley Rheuark, the newest and youngest member of Team RANGELOG, was awarded both High Lady and High Junior at the Georgia State IDPA Championship this past weekend. The two day match, hosted at the South River Gun Club in Conyers, GA, featured 13 challenging stages for the nearly 250 competitors.
Ashley is excited to join the RANGELOG team and compete in the 2014 season. “I would just like to thank RANGELOG for giving me the opportunity to represent them as their newest team member. I am looking forward to competing alongside my other team members, as well as what the upcoming year has in store for us. It’s going to be great! Thanks again to everyone that made this possible.”
Ashley joined teammates Morgan Allen and Deon Martin in expending nearly 200 rounds alongside competitors from around the country. Morgan and Deon placed second and fourth overall in the match respectively, with Morgan earning 2nd place in the ESP division, and Deon securing 2nd place in the SSP division.
“Having been to a few past Georgia state matches and being familiar with their creative use of pneumatic and timed target arrays helped forge a core match plan,” said Morgan Allen after the match. “This year’s stages presented the most challenging to date, requiring the ability to make mid-match adjustments, the kind of flexibility that can be learned through a diverse practice plan.”
Having battled the cold temperatures, Morgan remained in good spirits. “Congrats to my teammates for their great finishes this weekend, and welcome aboard to Ashley! Thank you as well to our sponsors who have made attending matches possible.”
Team RANGELOG would like to thank our 2013 sponsors for their support and commitment, including Hodgdon, Zeiss, Predator Tactical, Vertx, Safariland, 3-Gun Nation, Accuracy, Performance & Function and Burwell Gunsmithing.
