Doug Koenig Championship Season Presents Chasing Bugling Bull Elk in Wyoming – Part 1

Tune in this week as Doug Koenig and good friend Carl Bernosky travel to South Central Wyoming in search of a Bull Elk. With a quick stop at the local Bass Pro Shop, Doug and Carl pick up essential hunting gear and supplies to ensure their hunt is successful.
As both hunters assemble their TenPoint crossbows and zero them in, adrenaline begins to flow as the long awaited anticipation of the hunt unfolds. Leaving camp in the pre-dawn darkness, the coldest part of the day, Doug and Carl head out on the spacious 100,000 acre ranch to glass for grazing and bugling elk amidst the Aspen trees.
After three days of hunting hard with 40 mph winds and temperatures in the low thirties, Carl and his guide set out to scout a new area. Cresting a ridge at 6,800 feet that shows plenty of sign on the ground, Carl spots an elk, moves in and quickly sets up for the hunt. Will Carl get his moment to shoot his bull through the Quaking Aspen? Tune in to see the results.
