The woods of Alabama are no strange place for the Backwoods Life crew, as show host Michael Lee travels to Montgomery on this week’s show to hunt with Backwoods Bonehead crew members Jeremy Johnson and Justin Moore.
It’s mid-December and pre-rut so a little doe management is in mind for the crew, while Jeremy his sitting in his famous “trash pile” field with the bucks on the move for him.
“Alabama is a great place to hunt, especially later in the year when other state’s seasons are closing down. The bama rut is just getting kicked in and there are some bruisers in these woods!” says Lee. “I’m really grateful that Jeremy lets us come over and hunt each year, it is a great place and we’ve made some great TV shows in this area.”
