This Week on Student of the Gun TV – Aerial Gunnery School, M&P15 Prairie Dog Hunt, AR15 Parts Selection

This week Paul and Jarrad earn their patches when they attend the Vertex Aviation Aerial Gunnery School, a prerequisite to their Texas helicopter hunting adventure. We’ll meet Mike Morgan, US Army veteran helo pilot and the President of Vertex. Mike instructs the guys on what it takes to hunt varmints and predators from the air.

The modern black rifle is on display as we continue with our AR-15 build project and consider purchasing a complete lower parts kit. Also, the SOTG crew shot plenty of video footage and prairie dogs in Wyoming this summer. Paul takes a close look at the Smith&Wesson M&P15 rifles used to knock off these burrowing varmints.
