International Training, Inc. (ITI), a training company of G4S GS, and providers of benchmark security training programs to the U.S. Government, U.S. Military and corporate America, in conjunction with TSSi, recently hosted a successful TAC OPS Day on October 29, 2013 at the ITI Virginia Facility. TAC OPS Day was a full-day event attended by over 75 personnel from agencies including Naval Special Warfare, U.S. Air Force, State and Local Level Law Enforcement, the Local Fire Department and members of the media. The event included demonstrations from leading manufacturers. Host company ITI also presented demonstrations of their renowned driving courses and training.

“This year’s Tac Ops Day was a huge success,” remarked Tim Peck, Open Enrollment Coordinator at ITI. “Bringing this many vendors together, we were able to display a wide range of products to the attendees. Many people felt that their needs were met with all the vendors that were on hand.”

Manufacturers exhibiting include hosts ITI and TSSI, as well as Barnes Precision Machine, LaRue Tactical, Streamlight, Osen-Hunter Group, Simunition, Ashbury International, Ruhl Tech Breaching, 5.11 Tactical, Nathan Group LLC, Mortuary Response Solutions, EoTech, Zisto, Mustang Survival and Point Blank Body Armor. Raffle prizes included an M&P pistol from Smith & Wesson, won by Shawn Ward, and a custom rifle from Barnes Precision Machine, won by Matthew Peterson.

One attendee was overheard saying, “I have really enjoyed my time out here. I have never been to ITI, but heard about its training through co-workers. I really enjoyed the driving piece we did. I can see how learning those types of skill sets would better prepare someone if they found themselves in an attack. I am looking to bring my team back for more driver training!!”
