Moab, Utah

The poster child for red rock landscapes everywhere, Moab, Utah’s stunning scenery is considered one of the most breathtaking on Earth. There’s a ton to do and see and not only is Moab one of the top off-roading and 4×4 designations you’ll find anywhere, it is also famous for its adventure hiking tours, cycling, sky diving, canoeing, white water rafting, mountain biking, and just about any other outdoor activity you can think of.

Moab is also home to two national parks—Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park—and Dead Horse Point State Park which overlooks the Colorado State River, all while being surrounded by the stark beauty of the La Sal Mountains and National Forest. The vastly rich nature and scenery lands Moab, Utah as the perfect destination for the outdoors-man or women with a thirst for the great outdoors.

The Rubicon Trail, California

Just West of Lake Tahoe, carved into the Sierra Nevada mountain range is the arguably the most recognizable trails in existence—The Rubicon Trail. Originally a Native American trail used to link the Sacramento Valley with Lake Tahoe, The Rubicon has since been utilized by 4 wheel drive enthusiasts as an off-roading Mecca and is also seen as an adventurer’s hotspot due to the unique rock formations and gorgeous scenery. Like many of the nation’s premiere trails, The Rubicon Trail offers activities other than 4×4 like biking, motorcycle and quads, sightseeing, hiking and is also an excellent location for camping, fishing and general exploration.

For many with a passion for the outdoors, conquering the Rubicon Trail is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Rubicon has long been the go-to place for those seeking an adrenaline shot of adventure, excitement, nature, and all the great freedoms America has to offer. Experiencing the trail many consider to be the “crown Jewel” of off-road trails should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Ouray, Colorado

Blotted with historically significant Victorian homes and snowy, overcast-piercing mountains, Ouray Colorado provides the adventurer with an eye for aesthetic beauty plenty of reasons to never want to leave. The Ouray Ice Park offers a great day of frozen fun you can top off with a visit to the sulfur-free hot springs pools. One scenic trip around Ouray and you’ll be sold both on the purity of the landscape, as well as the overwhelming thrill found when exploring it.
