This Week on Gun Talk Radio – Twin Biathletes

It’s twin sister biathletes, a big milestone in Wisconsin, and more, this week on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Lanny and Tracy Barnes are not only twin sisters; they are both competitors in one of the toughest winter sports around – the cross-country skiing and rifle competition, also known as the biathlon. Currently in Canada for training, the Barnes sisters call in to Gun Talk to talk about how they got into shooting, how they train for the biathlon, and their current push for a spot at the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. Back in 2011, with the passage of Act 35, Wisconsin became the 49th state to license people to carry concealed weapons. The law took effect Nov. 1 that year, and since then, 200,000 permits have been issued. Wisconsin Carry, Inc.’s Chairman and President Nik Clark visits Gun Talk this Sunday with his thoughts on why the number of permits has exceeded expectations, info on the free concealed carry class the group offers, an update on a lawsuit against the DOJ, and more. More information can be found at http://www.wisconsincarry.org.
