ODFW will host an archery workshop on Friday, Dec. 27 at The Hoop facility in Salem from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The event is open to anyone age 10 and over and ideal for families. Adults are $22 and youth (age 18 and under) are $7. The fee includes use of ODFW equipment (bows, arrows, arm guards, finger tabs and eye protection), program materials and lunch.

Both beginners and people who need a refresher course in archery are welcome to attend.

Participants will learn how to safely handle and shoot bows and how to pack for a day’s hunt. They will also have the opportunity to go through a 3-D archery course shooting at targets and to participate in archery games.

To register, sign up online or at a license sales agent. Choose “Register for a Class.” (People signing up online who have never purchased an ODFW license or tag before need to click on the arrow next to Hunter/Angler ID# and choose “New Customer.”)
