‘First Person Defender’ Teaches Life Lessons

There’s no denying that Gun Talk TV’s new internet series, First Person Defender, has raised a lot of eyebrows and caught the attention of viewers from coast to coast. It’s an action-packed show that teaches life lessons—with guns. Crimson Trace products are often installed on those problem-solving firearms. In most staged situations, average citizens shoot their way out of dangerous or life-threatening scenarios—and then when the smoke clears, they can go back to learn from any mistakes.

“People placed into our scenarios say the same thing,” said Tom Gresham, co-producer of the series. “Immediately after the scenario, they say that it all happened so fast. We’re also hearing from concealed carry instructors who are using the First Person Defender videos in their classes to give students a look at how attacks happen in the real world. Combine that with the reports we’re getting from viewers who used the information in FPD to defend their families, and we’re delighted in the success of the first season.”

“We believe that no personal protection firearm is fully equipped without a laser sight from Crimson Trace, and FPD offers today’s gun owner training and education in the most realistic and informative format available,” said Kent Thomas, Crimson Trace Director of Marketing & Product Development. “By creating FPD, Gun Talk TV has raised the bar for educating gun owners on how to defend themselves (and others) in today’s climate. We’re very proud to be the exclusive, category sponsor of a production that breaks some rules as it informs the public in ways that no one has ever done before.”

The First Person Defender series arms participants with Simunition guns utilizing patented, reduced-energy, non-lethal cartridges and marking bullets. Each episode takes place in real-world settings, such as inside a home, a city parking lot, or the neighborhood small grocery store. The shows feature gear and guns that average Americans already own from these sources: Crimson Trace (www.crimsontrace.com); Smith & Wesson; Ruger; XS Sights; Nosler; and Remington and Para USA.
