Patrick Sweeney offers a full review of the Viridian Reactor 5 in the November issue of Guns & Ammo magazine. He covers the complete sighting system: premium green laser sight, ECR Instant-On activation, and custom-fit holster – a ready-to-go system.

Sweeney goes on to mention just how bright the R5 green laser is, especially in comparison to traditional red lasers. He notes that daylight visibility is so good that “you can pick out the green dot at 100 yards.” Regarding nighttime visibility, he goes on to note “let’s just say that if you need to bring the mothership in on final approach, a Viridian R5 will be visible enough.”
