The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is proud to announce HHA Sports, Inc., makers of the archery industry’s number one selling single pin bow sight, the Optimizer, as its newest Corporate Sponsor.

“It’s especially pleasing for me to welcome HHA Sports as our newest Corporate Sponsor because they not only produce high-quality archery and firearm sights used by many of our members, but they also are firmly committed to QDMA’s mission of ensuring the future of white-tailed deer, wildlife habitat and our hunting heritage,” said QDMA CEO Brian Murphy.

HHA Sports is a Wisconsin based archery, crossbow and gun sight manufacturer founded in 1984, when company founder Harry Hamm launched the Knucklehead folding stabilizer. HHA went on to launch a handful of products in the 1980s, but it was in the 1990s with the introduction of the Optimizer single pin bow sight when HHA became the household name it is today.

“HHA Sports is very excited to partner with QDMA and bring our quality Optimizer brand of archery, crossbow and gun sighting accessories to its members,” said Chris Hamm, National Sales Manager with HHA Sports. “Both organizations are highly respected in their fields, and we look forward to a great marriage.”

HHA has received the Bowhunting World Reader’s Choice Gold Award for Single Pin Bow Site 10 consecutive years (2005-14) as the Optimizer Lite and Lite Ultra continue to dominate sales worldwide with exclusive features including totally toolless adjustments, a mechanical rheostat to fine tune pin intensity and a patented sight in yardage tape system.

But HHA is more than just another archery company. The Optimizer brand entered the crossbow market in 2010 with the Optimizer Speed Dial, which eliminates the need for multi-haired scopes and provides the shooter with 20- to 80-yard accuracy by the yard with the turn of a dial. That same technology was introduced to firearms in mid-2013 with the Optimizer Horizon. The Optimizer Horizon emphasizes adjustable one-point aiming with a single crosshair, similar to its crossbow companion. Simply by sighting in at two distances, infinite range adjustment will be a dial away for a .22, muzzleloader or center fire rifle.

All of HHA’s products are made in the USA and carry a 100 percent lifetime warranty.

  1. In Ontario I have hunted with a crossbow for 28 years mostly during late season December deer hunts when tree stands are not a great option for using a compound bow. Its one of those hunting tools that enables you to have additional confidence in your shooting skills when extreme weather, bitter cold , snow and wind may affect your shot. Once your distance is confirmed just dial it in land shoot. Great to see QDMA and HHA on one page. I look forward to learning more about HHA product line on their website.
