YSSA Board Elects Blackwell

The Board of Directors of the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance (YSSA) elected Scott Blackwell to the Board at their Annual Meeting held in conjunction with the NASGW Expo in Grapevine, TX.
“As a shooting sports enthusiast and father of two teenagers, I am honored to be elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance,” said Scott Blackwell, President of Freedom Group. “I look forward to working with YSSA to ensure that all young people have the opportunity to experience this exciting discipline in a safe, family-friendly environment. On a personal note, I am grateful for the opportunity that this role gives me to share my passion for marksmanship, competitive shooting and the outdoors with today’s youth, who need our continued guidance and support to become tomorrow’s leaders. I salute YSSA for recognizing the value of the skills that the shooting sports teach young people, enduring skills such as confidence, discipline and teamwork, which will serve them in many areas of their lives.”
YSSA Board of Director members serve three year terms and have the primary responsibility to assist in obtaining financial and product contributions in support of the mission of the YSSA.
