Fishing Tackle Unlimited “GulF Freeway” Store to Open Shimano Technical Center, G.Loomis Performance Center

Anglers can now check out the latest tackle at the new Shimano Technical Center and G.Loomis Performance Center, a dedicated ‘store within the store’ opening at Fishing Tackle Unlimited Gulf Freeway location in Houston. Shimano and G.Loomis reps and field staff will be at the store during a special re-grand opening Fishing Tackle Unlimited has planned from 7am until 7pm this Saturday, Dec. 7.
To kick-off this unique concept, Shimano will give away a free, no purchase required fishing trip with Captain Kevin Beach from Mexican Gulf Fishing Company, on board ‘Pale Horse’, his 37-foot Freeman out of Venice, La. To enter, anglers simply to need to see an onsite Shimano rep and take a brief survey. Additionally, there will also be Shimano rod sleeves and G.Loomis cell phone covers available with any purchase.
By showcasing an extensive product line-up at the new Shimano Technical Center and G.Loomis Performance Center, “we can easily handle all their tackle needs from bass to blue marlin and all species in between,” said Hughes Andry from Richmond, Texas, and also the Shimano and G.Loomis sales rep for Fishing Tackle Unlimited. “Anglers in the greater Houston know what a special tackle shop they have at Fishing Tackle Unlimited, and they’ve allowed us to add to it with the new Shimano and G.Loomis dedicated centers.”
