Utah DNR Announces Dates for Scofield State Park Ice Fishing Tournament and the Quadfishalon

EIGHTH ANNUAL SCOFIELD STATE PARK ICE FISHING TOURNAMENT

Scofield State Park hosts its eighth annual ice fishing tournament Saturday, December 28. Check-in begins at 6 a.m. and the tournament starts at 7 a.m. Registration is $15.

Prizes are awarded for the five largest fish, and all participants are eligible for random prizes. This tournament is limited to 200 anglers. Registration is available at scofield.utah.gov.

FISH ON AT THE QUAD-FISHALON

Join us for the Quadfishalon ice fishing tournament series at East Canyon, Deer Creek, Rockport, and Jordanelle state parks.

East Canyon hosts the first event January 25; Deer Creek February 8; Rockport February 15; and Jordanelle February 22, ice conditions permitting. Cost is $70 for all four events, or $20 for one.

Register for all four events; enter your largest measured trout caught at each event and the person with the largest total measurement wins a $500 Scheels gift certificate. Prizes are also given at each tournament. Registration for the series is open until January 22 and available at jordanelle.utah.gov or for individual tournaments visit stateparks.utah.gov and choose the specific park.
