Online Draw Applications for 2014 Arizona Elk and Pronghorn Hunts Are Now Being Accepted

The online application service is available for the 2014 Arizona elk and pronghorn antelope hunt draw. Hunters who wish to apply online for elk and pronghorn antelope hunt permit-tags can do so by visiting https://az.gov/azgfd/draw/home.xhtml and scrolling down to the “Apply for a Draw” link. The deadline for submitting draw applications is Feb. 11 by 7 p.m. (MST).

Hunters who prefer not to use the online application service may submit paper applications by mail or hand-delivery. The paper application form and the 2014 Pronghorn Antelope and Elk Hunt Draw Information regulations booklet are available for downloading at www.azgfd.gov/draw. Printed copies of the booklets, application forms and envelopes should now be at most hunting and fishing license dealers statewide and at Game and Fish offices, or will be by early next week. Please note that the application form for this draw is new. Please do not use old application forms.

Paper applications and fees can be mailed to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, Attn: Drawing Section, PO Box 74020, Phoenix, AZ 85087-1052, or hand-delivered to any of the seven Game and Fish offices located in Pinetop, Flagstaff, Kingman, Yuma, Tucson, Mesa and Phoenix. For a list of office locations, visit www.azgfd.gov/offices.

The draw deadline for all applications is 7 p.m. (MST-Arizona time) on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. Mailed applications must be received by the department by the deadline. Postmark dates do not count.

A 2014 hunting or combination hunting/fishing license is required to apply for the draw. Licenses may be purchased at the same time as applying for the draw or purchased separately online at www.azgfd.gov/eservices/licenses.shtml or at authorized license dealers and at Game and Fish offices. A new license structure and license and tag fees went into effect on Jan. 1, 2014. The new structure and fees can be found on page 7 of the 2014 Pronghorn Antelope and Elk Hunt Draw Information booklet.
