NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction in Indianapolis Features Custom Diamondback Boat

Fish, hunt or joyride in style with a one-of-a-kind NRA-themed center console boat by Diamondback, the live auction showcase item of the National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction on April 24, 2014, in Indianapolis. The custom boat will be available for a first look to attendees of the Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where it will be displayed in the entrance to the Boating/RV hall from February 1-9.

The entirely custom 22’ x 9’ center console boat is powered by a Suzuki 4 stroke 150 HP engine and 3-blade stainless steel propeller, offering superior handling and performance. Its NRA-themed wrap around the frame adds unique character while showing off your support of safe and competent gun ownership. Additional features for this unique center drive boat include custom Diamondback T-top with 4 rod holders, Sony CD Player and 4 Wet Sound Speakers, Yeti cooler, anti-foiling bottom, boarding ladder, lockable storage, Rhino Lined Nonslip deck and more. Finally, the boat is paired with a Ram-Lin tandem torsion axle aluminum trailer to ease with transportation.

“Diamondback’s American pride and strong partnership with our organization is evident in this hand-built NRA boat,” said John da Silva, National Manager Volunteer Fund Raising Events & Marketing. “The NRA Airboat they built for last year’s NRA Foundation Banquet in Houston raised over $60,000 for the next shooting sports generation. We are proud to again partner with Diamondback and share the passion for the shooting sports and the outdoor lifestyle.”

The National NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction will be held during the 143rd NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Indianapolis. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on the boat in a live auction organized to raise money for local, state and national shooting sports programs.

“Here at Diamondback all our employees are hunters, sportsmen and sportswomen, and believe in the NRA,” said Bobby Fleckinger, owner of Diamondback Airboats.”

Funds raised at the NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction will go to The NRA Foundation, America’s leading charitable organization in support of the shooting sports.  Since its inception in 1992, The NRA Foundation has funded more than 30,500 grants, totaling $215 million in support of the shooting sports, hunting and defense of the Second Amendment.
