Bassin’ Magazine’s Big Bass World Championship (BBWC), presented by Pursuit Channel, recently announced that BassResource.com, the largest online bass fishing website, joined the family of BBWC sponsors for 2014. As part of the sponsorship, BassResource will offer its members a chance to compete in the Championship.
“This is incredible. I remember the inception of the Big Bass World Championship nearly two decades ago, and to be part of event in 2014 is amazing to me,” said Glenn May, CEO of BassResource.com.
The big news for BassResource.com members is that the partnership will send one BassResoure.com member who signs up for the 2014 BBWC to the final championship event expected to take place fall 2014 at an undisclosed location. Complete details regarding this special promotion are posted at BassResource.com.
“I know the members of BassResource will benefit from the partnership. To be the official online state leaderboard website is very exciting. One of our members will get to fish in the championship event this fall. This is a great partnership and will be wonderful for our fishing community,” May said.
BBWC participants can go to BassResource.com to check the state leaderboard, read articles, participate in forums, watch videos and find out what anglers across the country are doing to catch big bass.
Participating in the event is easy:
- Sign up for just $25 at www.BassinOnline.com.
- Fish anytime, anywhere from now until Aug. 15, 2014. Land the heaviest bass in any state and you qualify as one of 49 anglers to fish in the final championship event. Or participate in the BassResource.com promotion and win the 50th and final invitation to the championship event. Go to the BBWC section posted at www.bassresource.com/bbwc for more details.

“We are pleased to announce the partnership and want to reward one BassResouce.com member, by giving him or her the final spot in our championship event. With no returning champion this year, there was no better fit than to award it to a member of BassResource.com who also entered the BBWC.”
Sponsors and partners of the BBWC include: Pursuit Channel; Bassin’ Magazine, The Official Magazine of the Weekend Angler; F&H Decals, Official Ruler Supplier; and BassResource.com, Official State Leaderboard.
