Arctic Ice Announces Sponsorship of Jernigan/Schurlknight Redfish Team

Arctic Ice has proudly renewed its sponsorship of John Jernigan and Cameron Schurlknight as they begin the 2014 season of tournament redfishing. The Jernigan/Schurlknight team finished strong in 2013 with a top ten finish in the IFA Redfish Championship in Houma, LA as well as claiming the runner up position for the IFA West Coast of Florida Team of the year.
“We are extremely proud to have John and Cameron using our product and flying our colors this year” states David White, Arctic Ice V.P. of Marketing. “These guys are a class act and compete at a high level regardless of the competition. It was an easy decision to work with these men again this year.”
John Jernigan has been fishing the waters of Southwest Florida for over 30 years. He is passionate about beach tarpon fishing and working the flats for tournament redfish. He is a licensed USCG Captain that enjoys taking clients fishing for tarpon, redfish, snook and trout. He has recently partnered with Feeding Frenzy Sport Fishing Academy where he will be an instructor for fishing and boating topics.
In addition to team fishing, Cameron Schurlknight has racked up quite a few top finishes in his young career with 1st place finishes in the IFA Kayak Tour in Titusville (2012) and Punta Gorda (2011). In the 2013 season, Cameron was named the IFA Angler of the Year for West Florida.
Keep a watch out for Arctic Ice team of John and Cameron as they will be competing in the IFA Redfish Tour and the Power-Pole Florida Pro Redfish Series this season.
