Kalkomey’s Handgun Safety Course Video Series Receives Pinnacle Award

A new series of handgun safety education videos, produced by Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc., was recognized with the Professional Outdoor Media Association’s 2014 Pinnacle Award in the broadcast category. This achievement marks Kalkomey’s second consecutive Pinnacle Award. The handgun education safety videos are part of the training offered at www.handgunsafetycourse.com.
“Our handgun safety videos follow a new, fun style. We wanted to use humor, where appropriate, to focus the student’s attention on the safety advice,” said Kurt Kalkomey, CEO of Kalkomey Enterprises, Inc. “The videos are meant to engage students with opportunities to explore and select the best options for staying safe while shooting. The new handgun safety education videos feature a combination of professional actors, entertaining storylines and up-to-date scenarios. They cover topics such as the different types of handguns available and how to properly handle, store and transport handguns. Students will also learn how to keep children safe around handguns.
In addition to being entertaining, Kalkomey’s handgun safety education videos also were vetted by industry experts. Bill Miller, with Bill Miller Outdoors, and renowned outdoor writer J. Wayne Fears each played a vital role in ensuring interesting but accurate information was taught in the video series. Their unmatched expertise and deep understanding of handgun shooting tactics will help students walk away from this video series with the knowledge they need.
“The new Handgun Safety Course video series reaches far beyond the choir to new ranks of prospective shooters.
