To paraphrase legendary angler and writer Robert Traver, “I fish because I love to; because my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because I love the environs where fish are found, which are invariably beautiful . . .”
Fishouflage and Traditions Media could certainly both share that credo – two like-minded companies, both passionate about their love of fishing, and now working together to connect the worldwide fishing community with a look that is “all-fishing.”
Fishouflage, known fondly as the fishermen’s camo, and Traditions Media, the angling- and hunting-centric public relations and marketing posse, have intensified their alliance to further establish the identity of today’s angler; to design contemporary, comfortable and ultra-functional casualwear, and to provide everything from décor essentials such as bedding and wall coverings, to statement-making tackle, gear, and even boats that establish the true brotherhood of those who embrace the fishing lifestyle.
“Passion for the outdoors has long been embodied by sportsmen both wearing and enjoying camo,” says Fishouflage president and CEO Paul Bernegger. “It’s about the connection.”
Bernegger adds that the renewed partnership with Traditions Media will further propel the growth of and affection for the Fishouflage brand, which has already produced solid alliances with legendary brands such as Plano, Frabill and Ardent Reels—resulting in some of the sharpest-looking new tackle and gear in the industry.
“Few PR groups have their fingers closer to the pulse of their pursuit as Traditions,” Bernegger continues. “Like us, they live the life – and their passion for fishing is evident in all they do. We like that. In fact, it’s an attitude shared by all of us at Fishouflage—we literally wear our passion on our sleeves.”
Traditions Media president and frontman Noel Vick adds voice to the PR side. “We get especially charged up by the prospect of introducing Fishouflage to the worldwide audience. Camo worn for the purposes of style and passion-professing on the hunting side has been popular for years. What’s entirely unique since Fishouflage came on the scene is the power to showcase that same devotion and love of the sport now for all the freshwater and saltwater anglers.”
By popular demand, Fishouflage will be releasing three new designs in 2015 covering new species lurking in immersive underwater environs. “We think anglers are really going to really love these new releases, just as they’ve embraced our bass, walleye, crappie, redfish and other patterns.” said Bernegger.
Vick: “The fishing industry is fueled by innovation, and we take great pride in combusting that fuel to drive awareness and brand growth.”
Life is short, live your dream and wear your passion.
